Card making doesn’t need to be complicated. Take one simple small stamp and you can easily use it to create a card. Today, I’ve got a card where I used a couple of stamps from the new Altenew Mini Delight: Very berry stamp and die set to create this bright fun and simple CAS Christmas card with small stamps. So why not have a look for your stash, you’re bound to have a leave and berry somewhere and try and recreate this card. Stamping multiples to build up a wreath
For this card, I used a combination of different greens to stamp the two layering leaves from the Altenew Mini Delight Very Berry stamp set. The greens I used were:
For the berries I used:
After the stamping is complete, use the coordinating die to cut the images out. To create the wreath, use a pencil and a circle shaped object to faintly draw round on a white card panel. Start to adhere the leaves around this line, using different depths of dimension to add interest.
Also add the berries in at regular intervals if you’re using an even number. If you plan to use an odd number, concentrate them in a triangle around the wreath to help lead the eye. The sentiment comes from an older Altenew Mini Christmas stamp set. This was heat embossed in gold and fussy cut out to add to the front.
To finish this card off I added a selection of gold sequin discs scattered around the wreath.
