When I saw Spellbinders Small Die Of The Month April 2022, I thought what an elegant set of gift boxes. Normally, I would look at turning them into a birthday card that is more suited to females, but today I decided I would make a sophisticated masculine birthday card with a classic colour combo. However, this colour combo and style leads to the card being quite unisex so perfect to have on hand for any recipient.

Die-cut the full die from the Small Die Of The Month April 2022, the 2 outline dies along with the inner detailed die out of gold mirror cardstock. Cut this twice to layer up for dimension. In addition, also die-cut just the two outline dies together out of Navy cardstock for the base.
Adhere the gold detail die-cuts onto the navy base and see this to one side. With your Glimmer Hot Foil System, foil the Diagonal Glimmer Strips Hot Foil Plate in Matte Gold Hot Foil onto a white card. Trim this down and foam mount onto a white card base, adhering the gift boxes on top.
For the sentiment, die-cut the Birthday sentiment from the Yana’s Layered Script Sentiments die set out of Navy cardstock , and cut the shadow out of velum. In addition, hot foil the ‘Happy’ sentiment from the Splatter Sentiments Hot Foil plate set onto Navy cardstock .
After adding the sentiment to the front, finish the card with gold matte sequins.
