Spellbinders Card Kit of the month June 2022 is such a fun one and is perfect for creating lots of birthday cards, so you can easily top up your birthday card stash in no time! All three of my cards are super easy to make, with a little trimming and glue you are good to go. These could work for a range of ages, from little girls to more sophisticated women. And the kit comes with lots of die-cut toppers and paper to create floral birthday cards as well. So let’s get started!

This first card uses some of the pattern paper from the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month June 2022 to help anchor the elements on the card.
Using varying depths of dimension, add a selection of the die-cut card toppers from the card kit on top of the pattern paper. The different depths in dimension give added interest.
Finish the card off with a sentiment from the Chipboard toppers from the card kit and then embellish with gold sequins which come in this months kit.
Dimensional party hats
This card uses the die that comes with Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month June 2022. This die creates a fun party hat that is 3D with a fun trim and pom pom to top the hat.
Die-cut the main hat die from 3 pastel shades of cardstock, also cutting the stripe from the hat. In addition, die-cut the main hat die from white card and trim off the flaps to back the inside of the hat with.
Die-cut the trim and pom-pom die from gold mirror cardstock, rolling the pom-pom die-cut with tweezers and glue to adhere this together. Use your fingers then to spread the pom-pom out. Don’t forget the adhere the trim to the bottom of the hat with liquid adhesive.
Add the hats to a slim lime card base, allowing the hat to the dome to create dimension. Add a sentiment using the puffy stickers that come in the set and finish with black Nuvo drops. I really should have added a smaller sentiment saying ‘Make a…’ to go with big wish, as in hindsight I think it should say wish big, but oh well!
Keeping it simple with symmetry
This card was super fun to make and very quick! Trim a piece of cardstock down from the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month June 2022 and adhere to a white card base.
Next, adhere four party hats from the stickers that come in the kit and position them equally on the card. For the sentiment, I foiled in Matte Gold Glimmer Hot Foil onto Soft Stone cardstock from the Mini Everyday Sentiments hot foil plates set.
Lastly, this card is finished with a few of the gold sequins from the kit to embellish the card.
