It is the start of a new month, yes it is! Don’t worry I think we all lose track of time at the moment! However, with the start of a new month, it also means a new WOW! Facebook challenge. This months theme is masculine cards. If you’re someone who struggles to make masculine cards hopefully you’ll find plenty of inspiration over in the WOW! Facebook group! My card uses a PinkFresh Studio stamp to make quick and easy repeat heat embossing. You can easily use this technique with many different colour combos, so have fun and experiment.

Creating the quick and easy repeat heat embossing
For this card, trim a piece of Nautical Hero Hues cardstock down to 55″ x 4.25. Place this inside your MISTI after removing the foam insert. Next, position the Nested Diamonds PinkFresh Studio background stamp into the MISTI.
Remove every other diamond within the pattern and stamp the remaining diamonds onto the card panel in WOW! clear ultra slow drying embossing ink. Cover this with Seth Apter’s Sea of Tranquility embossing powder and heat set. This creates a quick heat embossed background in no time!
Adding dimension and shine to the sentiment
For the rest of the card, die-cut the ‘Handsome’ die from the PinkFresh Studio Phrase Builder: Hello set out of white card three times. In addition die-cut the shadow out of black card. For the white die-cuts, layer these up with liquid glue and then smoosh the die-cut into your embossing pad.
Cover this with Metallic Gold embossing powder and heat set. For a smooth appearance repeat this several times to create a dimensional look to your phrase.
Assembling the card
Assemble the sentiment with the shadow die-cut and adhere this to the front of the panel. Next, add a stamped sentiment from the Altenew Blossom Wreath Stamp onto the front and add the card panel to a white card base.
To finish the card off, add a variety of sizes of White Gloss Nuvo Crystal drops scattered around the card.
