There is a new paper crafting kit in the town and it is a big one! Altenew’s new Craft Your Life Project Kit is a great kit if you want a kit where you can stamp, stencil, die and emboss with the same style of design. This all-on-one kit has a beautiful big seasonal bloom that really takes center stage on a card. I’ve created two very different-looking cards today with the one kit showing you how versatile this kit is and create many different cards stretching your stash and money.

Craft your life kit: seasonl blooms - creating a Graphic style
For this first card, I used the large outline stamp from the Seasonal Bloom kit. This was heat embossed in white embossing powder onto Powdered Blue cardstock. Next, with an ink blending tool, blend Suede shows ink around the edge of the stamped design.
Use the coordinating die to cut out the heat embossed design and trim this down to measure 5″ wide. For this card add two sheets of striped paper from the A Love for Stripes paper pack to a 7″x5 white card base.
Add the heat embossed image to the top of the card with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was created using a sentiment from the stamp set and was die-cut out with the coordinating sentiment dies that come in the kit.
A small sentiment was stamped from the Altenew Tall Foilage stamp set and the card was finished with a few Glacier Caves enamel dots.
Craft your life kit: seasonl blooms: painting with dimension
This second card has a completely different look but uses the same kit. Run the embossing folder from the Seasonal Bloom kit through your die-cutting machine (set-up to dry emboss) with Edible Eggplant cardstock.
To add colour to the design, use Altenew Metallic 14 Pan Watercolour set with Altenew Round watercolour brushes. Try not to overload the card with water as this is not watercolour cardstock. If you saturate it with water it will start to pill. After, add some gold metallic paint splatters and set to one side to dry.
Once the panel is dry, trim down and add to a white card base. lastly, finish by adding a gold heat embossed sentiment from the stamp set.
