One way to add a little more to your die-cutting is to add some glitter. I used the Altenew Glitter cardstock to add a small amount of sparkle and shine to the cards stepping up the cards a notch to give them that wow factor. I’ve used a variety of new dies as part of the Plentiful Patterns Stand-a-lone die and stencil release, but have a look at what dies you have to start playing with this idea straight away. So why not try and make your die-cuts sparkle!

make your die-cuts sparkl: layered flowers
For this first card, die-cut the floral dies from the Itty Bitty Flowers die set out of Ocean Reflection Glitter Gradient cardstock. For ease, add double-sided adhesive sheets to the back of the card before die-cutting for quick and easy assembly.
The branch was die-cut in brown from the Coffee Break gradient cardstock bundle. As there is a lot of shine from the flowers, die-cut the Moroccan Lattice die from white cardstock to create a tone-on-tone look.
The sentiment was die-cut several times from black card and layered up for dimension. I added a little wink of Stella to add sparkle to tie in with the flowers. This sentiment comes from the Just a Number die set.
make your die-cuts sparkle: subtle hints of glitter
For this second card, the glitter is more subtle. Die-cut the Polka Dots Leaves die from white card. Next, die-cut the full leave die from a gold glitter cardstock from the Gilded Gradient Glitter cardstock bundle.
Foam mount the layered leave die-cut onto a navy blue mini slimline card base. In addition, die-cut and layer up a white hello sentiment which comes from the All About You word die set.
To finish this card off, add a few white enamel dots from the Altenew Black & white enamel dots set.
Bonus card
This card creates a layered effect with a new builder stencil and die set. To created depth to the layering make sure you add cohesive colours that contrast with each other. Ink blend from one layer of the Brick Rosette Builder stencil set in Rouge ink onto a slimline card base. Blend Polished ink for the other layer and repeat this on another area of the card base.
Die-cut the Inline Leaves die out of navy cardstock multiple times and adhere down onto the card base, trimming off the excess that overhangs. Heat emboss in gold a layered die-cut from the You Matter die set and add the front.
In addition, also die-cut one of the corresponding sentiments from the set out of white. Lastly, finish the card off with a few gold sequins to embellish the card.
