Today, I got creative with the new Pitter Patter stamp set and used them in an unconventional way. Well, I mean I still stamped with them, but I didn’t create a single rain drop. I’m showing you how to Look at your stamps in a different way and see what you can do with them.
I thought the raindrops would main a perfect flower and got my inks and stamping blocks out to have a bit of fun. And I create a fun flower power inspired bright cheerful card. Just what somebody needs when they’re a bit under the weather!

Look at your stamps differently: add a petal with a raindrop
The colour scheme for this card was inspired by some of the fun and colour pattern paper from the A Little Drizzle Slimline pack. I picked out Lemongrass, Coral Cabana and Cummerbund inks.
I loaded the plain raindrops from the Pitter Patter stamp set onto acrylic blocks and stamped them in a rotating manner around one spot. When stamping, try to create a triangle formation to help lead the eye around the card.
I used the Lemongrass ink for the smaller flowers as an accent colour to pop against the other two colours.

To create the flower centres, I used Limoncello Nuvo Jewel drops. In addition, to add in pops of colour around the card, I added additional drops in Aqua Plains Nuvo Jewel Drops and Strawberry Colour Nuvo Jewel Drops.
This panel was trimmed down to create a white border and adhered to a white card base. Lastly, a sentiment from the Pitter Patter stamp set was heat embossed onto black card and foam mounted onto the card front.
