This ‘Crafters Gonna Craft’ stamp set from Kat Scrappiness caught my eye straight away and I knew I had to create a fun rainbow card with it. That also meant getting out a rainbow array of WOW! Embossing powders to create with too. And who wouldn’t love a rainbow card popping through their letterbox!

Creating the rainbow stamping
To start this card, I first of all placed a piece of white card into my MISTI stamping platform. The position the pencil stamp from the Crafters Gonna Craft stamp set along the bottom of the panel and stamp this in Rockin’ Red Catherine Pooler ink.
Move the card panel along – I moved the panel along 4 squares on my grid mat and stamp the next colour. For the rainbow of inks, I used the following: Orange twist, Limoncello, Mardi Gras, Suede Shoes and Grape Crush.
Adding the rainbow heat embossing
After the stamping, it is time to heat emboss. Position one of the squiggle mark stamps onto an acrylic block and stamp in WOW! Clear Ultra Slow drying embossing ink onto the tip of once pencil. Next, cover this with a corresponding colour of embossing powder. Tap of any excess and heat set with your WOW! dual-speed heat gun.
For the embossing powder colours, I used the following: Primary Pink Robin, Primary Bird of Paradise, Primary Lemon, Curacao, Oceanic and Primary Indigo. Once finished, the panel was foam mounted onto a card base made out of Gina K Soft Stone cardstock.
Assembling the card
To create the sentiment, die-cut the ‘Hello My Crafty Friend’ die out of black card to create the word friend. Adhere this to the front of the card with liquid glue. The ‘Get Creative’ sentiment comes from the stamp set and this was heat embossed in white onto black card before foam mounting onto the front of the card.
Lastly, a few clear sequins were adhered to the front to finish the card off.
