Hello, it’s been a while but I’m back with some more inspiration today! I’m showing you how to stretch your dies and get more from them than just using them the intended way. In this post, we’ll be stepping up simply die-cutting to create a soft and fresh Hello card using Spellbinders Small Die Of The Month May 2022. I’ve really been drawn to purple this month and of course, yellow is the complementary colour to purple so pairs beautifully!
I hope to bring you more inspiration over the next few days, I’ve had a lot going on outside of my crafting that I had to focus on, but I’m back to it. In addition, I’ve been helping organise the second special auction with the Ukraine Card Drive for Peace. If you’ve not seen it before, head over to Instagram here! We have lots of items to bid on from some amazing companies (including die-cutting or glimmer machines), and all we ask is for your bid to be donated to one of the pre-vetted charities listed on the IG account. So, head over an check it out, it is for a good cause!

The letters from the Spellbinders Small Die Of The Month May 2022 out of Gold Mirror cardstock. In addition, die-cut the letters out of white card 3 times to layer up behind for dimension.

Cut out some of the smaller dies from the Spellbinders Small Die Of The Month May 2022 out of the white card as well as some of the flowers/leaves from the Mini Blooms and Sprigs die set.
With a small blending brush, add some soft yellow to the die-cuts giving them variation and depth – a great way to step up your die-cuts. I used Chiffon Ink for this card. Trim down a piece of Wisteria Cardstock and add this to a white card base.

Adhere the Gold Hello to the middle of the card and then embellish the word with the inked die-cuts. To finish the card off, embellish with some yellow sequins, scattering this around the design.
