Today’s the day that Catherine Pooler has revealed her new mini stamp and die release to go along with the new inks releasing on the 13th of October. This release is called Global Adventures and features some fun animal stamps which I have used to make some Quirky CAS cards with bright colours. Of course, I had to go with the 6 new ink colours that are releasing for my colour scheme, which also feature as the colours for the new paper pack. These cards all use the fabulous new On Safari Bundle with these cute animals peaking out!
I will be creating with the new paper pack very soon, so stay tuned. However, one thing I want to mentioned about all of Catherine Pooler Paper packs is that the colour scheme is always listed. Therefore, if you’re struggling to find a cohesive colour scheme, look to the paper pack for inspiration.

Quirky CAS cards with bright colours: Giraffe
For this card I stamped the giraffe stamp from the Take A Peek stamp set in Flame ink. I also stamped one of the smaller stamps from the set, this time in Dress Blue ink and using the coordinating dies to cut these out.
For a cohesive colour scheme, I stamped a sentiment from the World of Thanks Sentiment stamp set in Uptown ink directly onto a card panel, offset to the left. The giraffe was foam mounted onto the front, and the floral element was added as a head piece.
I finished the card off with some coordinating sequins from the Park Avenue Sequin Mix.
Quirky CAS cards with bright colours: hippo
This little peaking hippo is so adorable, I had to create a card as though he is peaking over the top of the sentiment. The Hippo fom the Take A Peek stamp set was stamped in Dress Blue ink and I stamped a couple of the small stamps in Flame ink and Glitz ink.
Again I used a sentiment from the World of Thanks Sentiment stamp set and this was stamped in Martini Ink. Once, more sequins from the Park Avenue Sequin Mix were used to embellish the card.
Quirky CAS cards with bright colours: Tiger
For the Tiger stamp from the Take A Peek stamp set, I did some multi-ink stamping. First, stamp the tiger in Glitz ink. Do not remove the stamp from you stamping platform, but this time add Flame ink to the lower third of the tiger. Before stamping, use blending brush to soften the harsh ink line on the stamp.
To embellish the Tiger on this card, I added a bowler hat and bow tie stamped in Glam ink. Again, another sentiment from the World of Thanks Sentiment stamp set was added in Flame ink and embellished with Park Avenue Sequin Mix.
Quirky CAS cards with bright colours: Zebra
I did more multi-ink stamping with the Zebra from the Take A Peek stamp set, but this time I used Dress Blue ink and Glam ink.
For the bow tie and hat I added these ink Uptown ink and finished with a Glitz ink stamped sentiment. Again, the card was embellished with coordinating sequins from the Park Avenue Sequin Mix.
