Patterned paper is a great way to make lots of cards quickly! What’s more, with the right style of paper, or selecting the right style from a paper pack can allow you to make quick thank you cards with graphic paper. The new release from Catherine Pooler Designs, ‘Beautiful New Year’ features a lovely floral paper pack – called Fleur De. And although it is floral, I was able to use patterns from the pack to create these quick thank you cards with graphic paper. So let’s get started!

quick thank you cards with graphic paper: card 1
This card is the easiest out of the three. The Fleur De Patterned paper pack has this beautiful red striped paper and it is my favourite pattern out of the lot. I could buy a whole pad of it if there was one!

Trim one of the pieces down to 6″ x 4.5″. Next, add foam to the back and add this to a 6.5″ x 5″ card. For the sentiment, stamp the script ‘Thank you’ from the ‘Sincere Thank You’ stamp set in Juniper Mist Catherine Pooler ink onto white card. Fussy cut this out add foam mount onto the card front.
In addition, stamp a secondary sentiment from the same stamp set onto white card with embossing ink and cover with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder. Once heat set, use your Juniper Mist ink pad and use the direct to paper method to colour the card to match the sentiment on the card. The embossing ink will resist the ink and sentiment will pop. Finish the card off with a few clear acrylic baubles.

For this second card, use circle die to die cut a circle out of the red paper. Next, using the same size circle die with another one size smaller and cut this out of white card three times. Colour one of these with Juniper Mist ink and adhere all the layers together.

Stamp the bold ‘Thanks’ from the Sincere Thank you stamp set in embossing ink and cover with platinum embossing powder. Once heat-set, adhere the blue circle frame over the top. The Fleur de pattern paper also has this lovely black and white graphic dot paper. Trim this down and add to a 5.5″ x 4.25″ cardbase.
Foam mount the circle onto the from of the card and add a small secondary sentiment stamped onto white card in matching ink. Lastly, finish the card off with a few ore clear acrylic bubbles.

quick thank you cards with graphic paper: card 3
For this last card, not only are we going to use graphic patterned paper, but we are also going to create a graphic pattern as well. Select three patterns from the Fleur De pattern paper and trim 1/4″ strips from each sheet. Next, cover above 2/3 of a card base with double-sided tape.

Remove the release paper from the double-sided tape and start to adhere the strips down onto the card base, alternating the patterned paper. For the sentiment, stamp two small stamps from the Sincere Thank You stamp set in the centre towards the top in Black Jack Ink.
To finish the card off, add a few silver Tonic Nuvo Crystal drops scattered around the card.
