There are some new Catherine Pooler designs Ink colours in the Apothecary line and this post is looking at the beautiful Lilac ink colour. Lilac sits in the pure Violet section of the colour wheel, and you can grab your Catherine Pooler Ink colours wheels HERE. These are great for picking colours and seeing how colours sit together. Lilac is the lightest violet in the Spa collection and the other Violet in the Spa collection is Royal Treatment, which I have used today to show you the two colours side by side. And I didn’t waste my swatch piece, as I turned it into a card using the Saying Hey bundle from the Quint-Essentials Collection.

To create this card, I swatched a side by side ink swipe of the new Lilac ink colour from the Apothecary Ink bundle onto a white card panel. Next, using the other Violet in the Spa collection – Royal Treatment , swipe this next to Lilac.
To add a little interest, use the WOW! Mixed media brush to add some brushed embossing ink to the panel and cover with Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder before heat setting. To add a sentiment, die-cut out of the panel with the Hello Trio Word dies, keeping all the pieces.
Trim the panel down and add this to a white card panel. Die-cut the sentiment 3 more times out of the white card, layering this up and inserting it into the negative space on the panel. Finish by adding the coloured die-cut sentiment from the panel on top to create an eclipse card.
Lastly, embellish with some gold sequins. How gorgeous is this soft Lilac ink , a warm tone with soft and elegance to it
