Many ways to used Across the Globe pattern paper pack

Pattern blocking

For this technique, I’m using the pattern paper to create a block of pattern on a card to highlight the sentiment. I trimmed down this fun floral pattern paper from the Across the Globe pattern paper back to about two thirds of the card base.

Adhere the pattern paper down onto a card base with double-sided adhesive tape. Next, stamp a sentiment from the World of Thanks sentiment stamp set in Uptown ink, which corresponds to the pattern paper.

Lastly embellish with a few sequins from the Park Avenue sequin mix

Use pattern paper to create a focal element

There is some fun abstract world map pattern paper in the Across the Globe pattern paper and this was perfect to create a fun focal element.

Use a circle die to cut out a piece of the world map over the area you want. Heat emboss in white a sentiment from the World of Thanks sentiment stamp set

Foam mount the circle onto a white card base and the embellish with a few sequins from the Park Avenue sequin mix.

Use pattern paper in a shaker card

Pattern paper can create fun backgrounds when creating shaker cards. Add a piece of the zebra paper from the Across the Globe pattern paper to a white card base.

With a circle die, die-cut a circle out a of a card panel and add a piece of acetate to the back of this. In addition, the add foam tape around the edge of the circle window on the back. Fill the window with sequins from the Park Avenue sequin mix and add the card base to the back to seal the sequins in.

Lastly, stamp a sentiment from the World of Thanks sentiment stamp set in Glam ink and add to the front of the card.

use pattern paper as a background

This card use the pattern paper as a background, being the simplest technique out of the four. Trim down a piece of pattern paper from the Across the Globe pattern paper and foam mount this down onto a white card base.

Stamp the hippo from the Take A Peek stamp set onto a white square and add a few of the smaller stamps to embellish the hippo. In addition, stamp a sentiment from the World of Thanks sentiment stamp set.

Add this stamped card piece onto another piece of card that has been coloured with Dress Blue ink. This uses the direct to paper method to colour the card panel by dragging your ink over the card. Lastly, foam mount this onto the pattern paper to finish the card off.
