I recently got some of the Altenew Watercolour makers, and I thought they would be great for loose colouring. They are very pigmented as is, or you can dilute with water for a softer palette. When creating the card, I thought the loose sketchy feel of the PinkFresh Studio You Are My Favorite stamp set was perfect for loose colouring with watercolour markers. This bright fresh card is giving me all the warmth of summer!

Start off by heat emboss the You Are My Favorite stamp onto watercolour cardstock in Gold embossing powder. Once heat-set, start to add some colour to the flowers using the Tropical Fiesta Watercolour maker set from Altenew.
I went for a very sketchy loose feel adding highly pigmented strokes. In addition, I used a water brush pen to pull some of the colour out for a softer look in some areas. Set this to one side to dry.

For the sentiment, die-cut the Sentiment Suite You die out of cardstock which has been embossed with WOW! Petalicious embossing glitter from the English Garden Trio. Add layer this die-cut up and add to the front of the card.
To finish the sentiment off, add smaller secondary sentiments from the Simply Sentiments You stamp set, heat embossed in gold onto the black card. Lastly, embellish with sequins to finish the card.
