Instagram Birthday Giveaway

Hello! I hope you are having a good day. I have two posts for you today as I’m celebrating my birthday today with two giveaways; one on Instagram and one on facebook! For each giveaway, I have created a card or two with exactly the same supplies you could win. Don’t worry, you will have brand new sets of the supplies to win. The Instagram birthday giveaway contains one 5″ x 7 stamp set and 2 4.5″ X 7 stencils. These are by a company called Kesi’art which I picked up in France whilst visiting family.

The sentiment stamp set has 4 large sentiments stamps which are around 2″ x 4.5and perfect for adding to your cards. In addition, the stencils consist of a modern tribal chevron pattern and modern leaf motif. I loved using these products to create the cards below, particularly adding embellishment mousse through the stencils.

IN ORDER TO THE ENTER THE GIVEAWAY YOU MUST HEAD OVER TO MY INSTAGRAM PAGE HERE AND ENTER ON THE CORRESPONDING POST.

*this giveaway is not sponsored by any company or Instagram. This giveaway is funded by myself and it is open internationally. Please note postage will be paid for but any local customs or taxes are paid for by the winner/recipient of the supplies. Good Luck! (giveaway closes 28.11.18 10pm GMT and winner will announced 30.11.18 by 7pm GMT)

Instagram birthday giveaway card 1 OVERVIEW

For the leaf motif stencil cards, I applied a two colours of Tonic Nuvo Embellishment mousse over the top with a spatula. As for the blue card, I used Pacific Teal and Aquamarine. These two colours blended beautifully and really popped on the navy card. Once dry, this was foam mounted onto a white card base (4″ x 8) which was trimmed down on either end to frame the piece. I heat embossed in Opaque Bright White embossing powder from WOW! Embossing powders and fussy cut this out.  To adhere this onto the textured background, I applied liquid adhesive behind the embossing and held it in place with an acrylic block until it dried. Lastly, a stamped sentiment was added to the front along with a few colouring corresponding Tonic Nuvo drops in Duck Egg blue.

Instagram birthday giveaway card 2 OVERVIEW

I thought the leaf motif stencil would look gorgeous on kraft card paired it with some lovely coppers and pearl embellishment mousses. For this card, I used Burnished Bronze and Mother of Pearl Tonic Nuvo Embellishment mousse blending the two colours in the middle. Then the card panel was mounted onto another tall card base without trimming the panel down. Another white vellum sentiment was added on the front with a small stamped secondary sentiment. Lastly, a few white Nuvo drops were added to finish the card.

Instagram birthday giveaway card 3 OVERVIEW

I enjoyed playing with this stamp and stencil set so much that I made a third card, which I think would be great for a masculine birthday card! Using the tribal stencil I applied Old Navy and Pure Platinum Tonic Nuvo Embellishment mousses in a patchy manner for a more organic look.  To increase in the movement in the card, I moved the stencil and repositioned it over some of the mousse to make the pattern go further up the card. The sentiment, again from the stamp set, was heat embossed on to navy card in Metallic Copper embossing powder from WOW! Embossing powders and fussy cut-out. This was foam mounted onto the card and finished off with Liquid Mercury Nuvo Drios. As this card measures at 5.5″ x 8.25, you can use these supplies to create large cards.
