Creating a winter scene does always have to have winter animals in it – I’m not a critter kinda girl! For those who like the winter feel but with more traditional style dies, then why not try creating this card with the gorgeous Parcel & Post Mailbox – and you can get creative by customising the sentiment on the posted letter! And to make it extra special, why not make holographic snow with hot foiling?

Start off by creating a snowy background on Nautical Hero Hues cardstock. Here I foiled the Slimline Confetti Spellbinders Glimmer plate in Prism Hot Foil but you could use a stencil with white pigment ink for the same look. Cut out a snow bank from a white card and add this over the top, mounting the background onto a white cardbase.

Next, die-cut the mailbox from the Parcel & Post Mailbox die set out of the red card, both the main body and the side piece. Add a little ink blending with Cranberry Fizz ink to add shading to the side piece before adhering it to the main piece. Hot foil a sentiment in Gold Hot foil from the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer set and add this to the front of the box.
To finish the card off, hot foil a sentiment from the Christmas Magic Glimmer Hot Foil set into white card and add this in the mailbox poking out the top.
