These two fun cards: rainbow style were very easy to create. The Ink Splat background from Catherine Pooler designs creates fun edge cards in no time, but pair it with a rainbow and you have a match made in heaven! I’ve used embossing glitter, copics and Nuvo drops to add the rainbow, but you can easily switch these up for inks, paints, and embellishments!

Fun edgy card rainbow style 1
Start off by stamping the Ink Splat background onto white card in clear embossing ink. Next, cover with the following embossing glitters:
- Periwinkle
- Carnival
- Cumberbund
- In The Park
- Touch of Lemon
- Mai Tai
- Punch
- Strawberry Daiquiri

Once the background is covered in embossing glitter, heat set all at once. This will reduce the warping to the card compared to heating after adding each colour. For the sentiment die-cut out the Deco Thanks die. Make sure you add Altenew Double-sided adhesive sheets to the back of the card before die-cutting.
Keep the letters inside the die outline and using copic markers, shade in the die-cut with the colours of the rainbow. In addition, cut one more of the Deco thanks die out of white card, and adhere these outline directly to the card panel.

Insert the copic colour letters into the die-cut on the panel and add a heat embossed sentiment from the Sincere thanks stamp set. Lastly, embellish with Ebony Nuvo drops.
Fun edgy card rainbow style 2
For this card, stamp the Ink Splat backgorund in Twilight ink onto a white card panel.

Adhere the left over copic colour outline die-cut directly to the panel. Add another heat embossed sentiment from the Sincere thanks stamp set.
This time add a rainbow of Nuvo drops across the card to finished.
