When I was watching all the videos coming from Creativation I was inspired to get out my PinkFresh Studio dies after a booth tour of PinkFresh Studio. I particularly wanted to the play with the Leaf die and thought it could be used to make an elegant CAS wedding card. And Voila! I like to think I succeeded!

Creating the leaf design
To start off, die-cut the Leaf die from white card 2-3 times. In addition, die-cut the leaf one more time from coloured card of your choosing. This is a Rose Gold mat mirror card from Tonic from my stash, but you could use alternatives such as the Altenew Blush cardstock.

Layer the white die cuts up using Gina K connect glue and adhere to the coloured cardstock die-cut on the top for a dimensional leaf. Next, die-cut the leaf die 2-3 more times in white card for the background.

Adding detail to the background
Using a scoreboard, score at every 1/4″ horizontally across a card panel and foam mount the panel onto a white card base. Next, position the white die-cut leafs onto the card panel, and trim the branches and position around a focal point for interest. For the main branch, adhere down with Gina K connect glue and using some of the petal die-cuts from the leaf, add to the card panel to embellish. You can add foam pieces behind the petals for more dimension.

Adding sparkle to the card
Next, die-cut the PinkFresh Studio Beautiful die out of white card three times and layer up with Gina K Connect glue. Before adhering this to the front of the card, add a little sparkle with some embossing powder. Smoosh the die-cut into an embossing pad and then cover with Clear Hologram Sparkle embossing powder from WOW! and heat set. You may wish to do this several times for even coverage.

Place the sentiment onto the card, and add foam pads behind the sentiment where needed. Add a small heat embossed ‘to the’ and ‘couple’ from the Altenew Cake Love Stamp set onto black card to finish off the sentiment. Lastly, add a selection of clear sequins for some more added interest.
