Easy Unisex Birthday cards - card 1

This card uses the PinkFresh Studio Pop-out Sunburst stamp and the rays were stamped in sets of threes. Keep one ray in and then remove the next two rays to the right of this. Continue this out the stamp until only 6 rays are present. Ink these up with WOW! Clear Ultra slow drying embossing ink and stamp onto a white card panel.

easy unisex birthday cards

Next, cover this with Eygptian Turquoise embossing powder from the Ancient Jewels Trio from WOW! Embossing Powder. Position the card panel back into your MISTI, and then stamp the next set of 6 rays adjacent to this. Heat emboss these in Decadent Ruby embossing powder. Lastly, repeat with he remaining rays and heat set with Royal Emerald.

Trim the panel down and add this to a white card panel. For the sentiment in the middle, heat emboss in WOW! opaque White embossing powder a sentiment from the WOW! Everyday Sentiment stamp set onto a black die-cut circle. Pop this up on foam in the middle of the panel and add Tonic Studios Primary Ebony Nuvo Crystal Drops.

The colours of the Ancient Jewels trio work well for unisex cards as the colours are muted for masculine cards but opulent for feminine cards.

Easy Unisex Birthday cards - card 2

The next two cards use the powders is a very quick way, perfect for bulk making cards. Heat emboss 3 panels of card stock in each powder.

For this first card, trim down the panel to make 2 strips of each panel of the different powders, measuring at 0.5″ by 3.75″. Foam mount 1 strip of each powder horizontally onto card panel and then foam mount the other strips vertically, all evenly spaced out.

For the sentiment, die-cut 3 times the word ‘Happy’ from black card stock using the Altenew Fine Alphabet dies and layer-up for dimension. Lastly, add a stamped ‘Birthday’ sentiment to finish the card off.

Easy Unisex Birthday cards - card 3

This card uses the same heat embossed panels with the strips cut into 0.75″ by 3.75″, one from each powder. To add dimension, add foam strips behind and adhere onto a card panel.

The sentiment uses the Altenew Tall Alphabet dies, die-cut out of white card 3 times and then layered up for dimension. Adhere the sentient onto the front with liquid adhesive.

The birthday sentiment for this card comes from Julie Hickey designs Spring Delights Floral Sprig stamp set, stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink. Lastly, foam mount this onto the card.

Don’t forget to enter over on YouTube for your chance to win the new releases! All new powders are releasing on Hochanda tomorrow 25.01.2021. Also, head over to Instagram for another fantastic hop full of inspiration and another chance to win the new releases!

Mixed media Christmas card
