Start off by applying some white embossing paste to a white card panel. Here I  created a more smudge effect when applying it to the card. Next, cover this with Hibiscus Embossing powder from the Tropical Night Trio. The embossing glitter will stick to the embossing paste.

Next, before the heat setting, repeat this by adding another smudge of embossing paste and cover with Pea Coat embossing glitter. Lastly, repeat this one more time, covering with Icicle Teal Embossing glitter. You can now heat set this with your heat gun – the embossing paste will bubble but will dry flat and as the embossing glitter sticks to the embossing paste you do not need to heat from the back.

Finish this card off by adding 3 foiled sentiments using the Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers in Gold Fab foil before embellishing with Morning Dew Nuvo drops

Layering the texture

For this second card, we’re going to layer the embossing. This time add a thin layer of embossing paste and use the spatula to scrape it on. You may want to turn the spatula more on its side.

Cover this firstly with Blue Fields from the Independent Trio and heat set this so we can layer over the top. Make sure it has cooled and set before you apply another thin layer of embossing paste, slightly overlapping the previous. Cover this with Metaline Dark Blue Embossing powder and heat set.

Repeat this one more time and cover with Pea Coat embossing glitter. Lastly, foil one of the black Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers sheets with Ice Blue Fab Foil and add this to the front. Finish the card with Liquid Mercury Nuvo drops to embellish.

It will be there when you need it!
