Florals can often be soft and delicate but why not add some texture for more interest. Today I have a card where we’re creating texture for your florals in two very easy steps. This is such an easy technique to add to a card but really steps it up a notch. This card features the new Altenew Mini Delight: Winsome Bloom, and it is a sweet let floral and leaf set.
The size of this floral is perfect for building up a floral cluster, whether you pair this with a vase or a frame. Make sure you check out the end of the post to find out how to enter the Instagram hop and make sure you follow me to catch an Insta Reels really soon!

creating texture for your florals: die-cuts and dry embossing
Start off by stamping the florals from the Altenew Mini Delight: Winsome Bloom using two pinks from the Altenew Spring Bouquet mini ink cube set. This floral has two layers to it, and for the detailed layered I used the lighter pink out of the two.

The leaves were stamped in greens from the same ink set, and then images were cut out with the coordinating dies. In total, 3 blooms and 11 leaves were stamped and die-cut
To create the first layer of texture, create a tone on tone dry embossed background panel with the Altenew Organic linen 3D embossing folder. The second layer of texture uses a die-cut with the Altenew Burlap die in Soft Stone cardstock.

Cluster the florals on top of the die-cut with foam tape for dimension. Pepper the leaves around the florals and add a die-cut sentiment in black from the Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Buttercup set. Lastly, embellish with a scattering of sequins.
