The fabulous Crafty Meraki and WOW! Embossing teams have teamed up for an amazing Instagram hop and I’ve got an easy watercolour card using their beautiful products. Heat embossing is a great way to create full loose watercoloured cards, and if you’re more of a beginner with watercolouring, then this is perfect for you! I used watercolour brushes to speed this up, but you can easily use watercolour pans as well. But can we take a movement to admire how beautiful Penelope’s Garden stamp from Crafty Meraki is? Anyway, let’s get started with the card!

Start by heat embossing the Penelope’s Garden stamp from Crafty Meraki in WOW! Ultra Slow Drying Embossing ink onto watercolour card stock. Cover this with Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and heat set with your dual-speed heat gun.

Next, apply clear water over the top and start to drop watercolour ink using Altenew Watercolour Brushes. When the ink hits the wet clear water it will move and blend outwards. Add multiple colours to create fun and interesting looks to your petals.
When the panel has dried, trim this down and mount it onto a white card base. Next, add a sentiment using the Sweet Sentiment Fab Foilers with Gold Fab Foil and foam mount this onto the front. Lastly, embellish with Ivory Opal Gems to finish the card off.
