Hello, I’m back with another colour combos with WOW! Embossing powders and this month I’ve gone for masculine-inspired colours. I’ve not only created a birthday card but also a few other occasions. You may wish to tell a many in your life thank you, but struggle with more modern masculine style themes. So I hope this post inspires you to create more masculine cards with your embossing powders!

Start off by heat embossing 3 card panels in the following embossing powders: Tarnished teal from the Alchemy Trio, Palm from the Tropical Nights Trio and California Gold embossing Glitter. Once heat-set, trim each panel up into 1/4 inch strips.
For this first card, I created an abstract modern line card by adhering the stips down either horizontally or vertically allowing them to overlap.
You can add as many strips on as you like and if you prefer one colour more than the other, switch up how much of each colour you have. To finish the card, add a stamped sentiment in Black Jack ink from the More Modern Messages from the Stamp Market and embellish with Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
For this card, adhere a piece of the double-sided adhesive sheet to a white card panel and start adhering the stripes onto the adhesive at a diagonal alternating the colours.
Once the panel is complete, trim off a strip and add to a white card, foam mounting this to give interest.
Again finish this off white stamping a sentiment from the More Modern Messages stamp set and foam mount this onto the panel. Lastly, embellish with Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
This last card uses the leftover strip we cut off from the panel we used on the last card.
Add this strip to another white card base with double-sided tape.
Stamp another sentiment from the More Modern Messages stamp set and once more finish with Ebony Black Nuvo drops.
