Hi, welcome back to the blog. I hope you are having a great weekend, and managing to find sometime to get in your craft room! I do love to make a clean and simple card, and I have another one for you today. For this one, I used a lovely small little stamp set from Altenew (One of a kind) and it just shows you don’t need a lot to create something beautiful. Of course, I finished the card off with one of the amazing stamps from Chunky Monkey Crafts and added a couple of small silver sequins from the Icicle Sequin mix to help balance with the larger sequins I added. And who wouldn’t love to receive a ‘Hello Beautiful’ card in the post!
Hello beautiful card details
Start off by stamping the floral image from the One of a Kind Altenew stamp set 3 times onto smooth watercolour card. I used a selection of watercolours to add colour. and I purposely didn’t ‘colour’ the images in. Instead, I just added colour all over for a bold pop of colour for the card, allowing the colours to mix for added interest. When your images are dry, fussy cut these out.

Cut several square frames out of white cardstock, I used a set from a Tattered Lace die set in three sizes and stacked these together at an angle. Where the excess overhangs the card, trim down the pieces down. The floral images were layered on top of one another, and foam squares were used to help to give depth and dimension. Stamp a simple sentiment from Altenew Meadow Flowers in black and add some gold paint splatter to the background for additional interest.

Lastly, I added some yellow and orange sequins to match the colour of the flowers to the front of the card. For the back of the card, I used the #supportasmallbusiness stamp on the back, as I feel this is very appropriate. I am helping Chunky Monkey Crafts, supporting this small business by creating and promoting their products. So please, so support Chunky Monkey Crafts.
