It is Marion from WOW! Embossing Powder/ Sugar N’ Spice’s birthday and a bunch of us crafters have gotten together to celebrate her birthday with a fun Instagram hop. If you don’t follow me on Instagram, then make sure you head over there as there are a couple of gift cards up for grabs as part of the celebrations. As Marion loves the colour teal, I decided to use some of my WOW! Inspired by me products to create a teal ombre confetti card to wish Marion a fabulous birthday full of confetti wishes.

Creating the teal ombre confetti
Start off by placing the Confetti Circle stencil over a piece of white card. Using a sponge, apply WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing ink through the stencil.

Remove the stencil and now sprinkle Cerulean Embossing Glitter from the Indulgence Trio around the outside of the confetti stencilled inked area. Do not cover the whole area as we want to create an ombre.

Assembling the card
To create the ombre effect, start to cover more of the confetti design with another colour. Here I went with Dress Blue. If you struggle to see the design, tilt the card in the light and then the ink will shine. Lastly, cover the remainder of the design with Pea coat from the Indulgence trio to heat set.

I used my WOW! Embossing Pen to add a few fine dots towards the outside of the card, and covered these with Cerulean again. Trim the panel down and add it to a card base.

Lastly, to finish the card off, add a sentiment from the Happy Birthday Sentiments stamp set heat embossed in Metallic Platinum embossing powder.
