Hey, I hope you’re having a great week. The design team for Brutus Monroe are hopping again showing you plenty of inspiration of how to incorporate the Surface Sprays into your projects. I used them today to decorate a burlap bag, perfecting for giving a gift in!

Surface Sprays Project Detail
Place your burlap bag in a box and mask of an area of the bag you wish to colour. You will want to shake the bottle well before you spray to make sure the colour has not settled at the bottom. Placing this inside a box when spraying prevents the spraying getting anywhere you don’t want it to! The two colours used in this project were the Cornflower and Rouge Surface Sprays. Make sure this is dry before you move on to colouring another area. For the foiled decoration, apply a strip of double-sided adhesive. Removing the release paper and burnish some deco foil on top. Remove the foil sheet and the foil will have transferred to the tape.
The tag was created in the same manner as the bag. A stitched tag was die-cut from Lunchbag cardstock. Areas were masked before colour as applied. Once dry, the foiling process was repeated on the tag to match the bag. A sentiment from the Big Top stamp set was heat embossed in Sterling embossing powder to finish the project off.

Did you like this project? Why not pin it and save for later? It will be there for when you need it!
