Brutus Monroe: Congrats on your new home!

Hi everyone! It is my turn up on the Brutus Monroe blog today and I have a created a beautiful CAS card using the True Love Luggage stamp set. It is cute little set with some great sentiments to mix up and use of several different cards. I used this adorable little stamp set to create a ‘Congrats on your new home’ card. It is always handy to have one of these in your collection to send off when you need it!

Congrats on your new home Card Process Overview

Stamp the image onto a watercolour card panel, and stamp an additional image onto a scrap of watercolour card.  Make sure you stamp these in an ink that is safe to use with water – Raven detail ink is great for this. Using watercolours, colour in the images – I used the Daniel Smith watercolour dot chart which is great for colouring in small stamps.

When all is dry, fussy cut out the figures from your scrap card and foam mount on top of the stamped image on the card panel. For a more interesting background, add score lines at 3/8″ distance, carefully not scoring the stamped image. Emboss the sentiment onto a strip of Raven card stock and foam mount onto the card. In addition, emblessih with some holographic sequins. Lastly, foam mount the whole panel onto a A2 side folding card.

Congrats on your new home Card photos
