It’s been a while since I got out my Zig clean color real brush markers but as soon as I saw the Hello Love stamp set from Crafty Meraki, I knew they would be the perfect medium to colour with. You can easily create bold colour with Zig colour brush markers, and the brush nibs also help for easy blending. Of course, head embossed the design first means I don’t go out of the lines and create a stunning card in no time!

bold colour with Zig colour brush markers adding the colour
Start off by heat embossing in WOW! Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder the Hello Love stamp set from Crafty Meraki onto watercolour cardstock. Next, it is time to start colouring the image. For the flowers, I added darker blue towards the middle of the flowers, blending into a light blue towards the ends.

The same process was also used for the leaves. To colour the inners of the bigger flowers, I used circular motions to colour in from brown to yellow.

Colours used:
- Light Blue 0.36
- Cobalt Blue 0.31
- Dark Blue 0.37
- Light Green 0.41
- Olive Green 0.43
- Green 0.40
- Ochre 0.36
- Dark Oatmeal 0.66
- Yellow 0.50
- Lemon Yello 0.51
- Bright Yellow 0.52
bold colour with Zig colour brush markers: adding additional metallic highlights
Once the flowers are coloured, it is time to add some more metallic accents to the card. Using the Altenew Metallic 14 pan set, colour the inner of the Hello in gold colour. For higher intensity, apply two layers of paint.

Next, fussy cut this image out, or use the coordinating die, and foam mount onto a white card base. In addition, stamp a sentiment from the Hello Love stamp set in black and trim down to add to the card. Lastly, add a few gold disc sequins to embellish the card.
