Abstract background: Gilded painting.

As you will have read not so long ago, whilst I was in the Range I picked up some Tonic Nuvo Rose Gold gilding flakes. Whilst browsing Pintrest I came across the image below by Distant Realms (link below the image) and loved how simple it appears but with such interst and intrigue. I loved the colour combination and thought this would be an excellent inspiration for a card backgroud. Today I will show you how I used this inspiration to produced my Congrats card.

Whilst I was out ‘window shopping’ in the Range I saw some rose gold gilding flakes and I was no longer window shopping! I had recently bought a plain oblong vase when I was in hobby craft and thought I would upcycle it with these flakes and some twine to make a stylish modern unique piece. I was in need of a smaller vase, as now and then my other vase is just to big for some flowers to stand in! So I upcycled this plain vase and it is now fit for the job.
